Fight Hard 5K is a race / walk in loving memory of Laurie Butler, organized by the Cockburn and Butler families. Laurie's tenacious spirit helped her fight a long, courageous battle with breast cancer. Growing up in Brunswick and later raising a family in North Yarmouth, Laurie touched many lives with her strength and courage. She inspired many by running 5K road races, even throughout her treatments. Fight Hard 5K is a non-profit group with all net proceeds to benefit the Dean Snell Cancer Foundation. The mission of the Dean Snell Cancer Foundation is to provide financial assistance to cancer patients at the Maine Center for Cancer Medicine in Brunswick.

Prizes:
Prizes are awarded to overall first male and female and first place male and female in age divisions 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and above male and female age categories.
Course Record: Wade Boudreau 18:27 and Martha Leggat 19:37.

Race Policy:
If race is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, there will be no make-up date and no refunds.

Entry Fee:
Pre-registration - $15.00 per runner or a family of four or more registering at the same time for $10.00 per runner.
On-line registration has an additional $2 processing fee for each runner and will be added at check-out.
The first 300 pre-registered runners will receive a T-shirt.
Day of race registration 7:00 - 7:30 a.m. - $20.00 (Cash)
